4 custom Cray vector / scalar processor

4 cache memory chips

83 layers glass ceramic layers and Copper conductors, 47 power and ground 36 signal routing.

4 MCM on one X1E module.

The MCM was fabricated by IBM for Cray 2000 - 2004

Measures approximately 3” x 3” x 1/4”.

It has been pointed out that a small chip in the ceramic upper left corner exists.
