This is a vintage gold apothecary balance scale that you can take anywhere. There are 8 drum weights and 6 grain weights. It was made in West Germany. The case is wood and you can assemble the scale right in the box, then pack it and go! It also includes a vile for gold nuggets or dust. A very nice set. I can find no damage. The case is 9 1/2" by 4 3/4" and is about 2" high. Each gold weighing pan is 2 3/4" across the pan.
