Royal Crown Derby Sitting 'Sleeping Kitten' Paperweight 1st Quality Gold Stopper

The delightful Royal Crown Derby Paperweight 'Sleeping Kitten', some 45mm in height, with the exquisitely hand applied 22 carat gold leaf and vibrant colours, combined to stunning effect, and would make a wonderful addition to any collection or a thoughtful gift for a loved one.

This paperweight is first quality with the Royal Crown Derby factory mark on the base, a gold stopper with a cypher date of 1998 (LXI).

This paperweight was modelled by Robert Tabnenor and decorated by Jo Ledger. It has the Painter/Modeller's marks on the base and is in excellent undamaged condition, with no chips, cracks, scratches, or restoration.  

The item comes from a private collection, previously displayed, behind glass, in a cabinet and comes without it original box. 

Please note the light marks on the photographs are camera/light reflections and not any sign of damage.

The item will be safely & securely wrapped in bubble wrap and despatched in a suitable box.
