formula: flat chest measurement (pit-to-pit) doubled minus four. For example, a
flat chest measurement of 23” doubled would be 46"; minus four would be a
US standard blazer size 42. All jackets with a length of less than 29” are
labeled “S” for short. Jackets with a length of greater than 31” are labeled
"L” for long. All others (29" to 31”) are labeled “R” for regular.
Pay careful attention to shoulder and sleeve measurements as Japanese
manufactured jackets often run slightly narrower at the shoulder and shorter at
the sleeve.
