Antique 19th Century Sterling Silver Towle Canterbury Soup Punch Ladle 13 1/4"

Presented is an antique, sterling silver soup or punch ladle made by Towle during the late 19th century. This piece is in the Canterbury pattern, which was patented in 1893 and this ladle is old, original production. The handle has a beaded edge with swirl flourishes above an old, original monogram of the initials RCG.

The back of the handle is marked for Towle and sterling silver purity.

This piece is in great overall condition, especially for its age. There is only minimal surface wear and no damages.
