This vintage Pioneer receiver was made from 1974-1976 and is rated at 20 watts per channel. The original list price was $300.00. This model is known for having certain transistors that fail and make loud popping sounds through the speakers, so you'll need to replace the transistors to have a unit that is dependable and works properly. The ones that are problematic are: 2SA726, on the power board, which should be replaced with 2SA992. On the phono board 2SC1312 should be replaced with 2SC1845. I recently had one of these models overhauled and it's a very nice vintage receiver. I'm selling this one unrestored for the hobbyist/tech who wants to save money and restore it himself.
