These jerseys were made to be auctioned for charity. Included in the photos is a photo of Jones wearing this exact style and due to its rarity and my research leads me to BELIEVE this jersey may have been issued to him personally for this game….. either as an extra backup, a keepsake, or for the auction.

This pinstriped button-down jersey features “ABC” sewn on the front in red tackle twill, with Jones’ number “10” sewn on the back in the same fashion. A Mitchell & Ness Cooperstown Collection tag and a “Heritage 8-1998” swatch are sewn on the front left tail. Atlanta donned these Atlanta Black Crackers jerseys for a Negro Leagues tribute event on August 1st and 2nd 1998 against the St. Louis Cardinals at Turner Stadium.
