Cardioid Dynamic Microphone

The MB 6k is a cardioid dynamic microphone designed for kick drum, floor tom, and other low-frequency applications.

It has relatively low sensitivity of 1.1 mV/Pa, which is suitable for high-SPL applications. Its frequency response is mildly contoured, with approximately a 5dB “scoop” between the low-frequency boost at 100Hz and the high-frequency boosts at 2.5kHz, 4.5kHz, and 8kHz.

The mic has an integral swiveling stand mount, and all-metal construction for durability.
