For auction we have a pair of Ampex 6973 Tube mono block amplifiers

These came out of a very expensive console from the late 50's

I am selling these as "for parts not working" no returns

That being said they are working quite nicely

The person I got them from recently did a lot of work to them

They have been 

recapped

new RCA inputs

new power cords

speaker binding post added to one side

on/off switches put on (they originally did not have)

all tubes tested and tested well

chassis painted black (originally these were all basic metal colour) being in a console

Original Triad output transformers

They are powerful little beasties

I have been around long enough that most would realize I am not out to scam anyone

I would suggest though that since my tech did not do the work, take it to yours just to give them the once over unless you are qualified
