Estate sale purchase- I box of other items. This apparently is very high quality. All brushed brass. Never had a wire attached. In new condition. Look closely at the pictures- All pictures. I am not sure of its use. Not the floor or it would not have the dome ( I think)
Not outside, or it would have a flap closure. Explosion proof ?? It is 1 7/8" from base to top of dome. The large flat flange is 3 1/8"
diameter. the dome unscrews and has a 1 5/8" diameter. Top of the dome has a center hole with a rubber gasket inserted. This hole
is approx, .5" diameter. Inside the dome are the numbers 979008 embossed in the brass. The actual plug is stamped HUBBELL 125v
