The hardware on these models is very reliable and capable and with so many ports it makes a good choice for a small home office router
This model has 1 GB Wan port and 9 GB Lan ports (the DMZ port is now mapped as a 9th Lan port as default)
And has single channel 2.4ghz wireless N with two removable aerials.
95mb of spare storage space for adding packages and 512mb of ram which is a good amount to be able to run things like ADBLOCKERS which require a fair amount of memory
Also is equipped with an SDcard slot on the side and 2 USB 2.0 ports so there's plenty of scope for extra storage or adding usb printers etc.
Although this model is also equipped with an ADSL modem port this does not function under openwrt (openwrt has only a handful of models of routers supported with functioning ADSL due to lack of open source driver support)
