Slides apart to reveal gold colour clock face and automatic tiny foot for it to stand up on. This folds back in automatically when you shut the case again.

Mechanical - wind up.

Near silent mechanism - I only wound it up a little but it seems to work ok.

Chain is not original I believe, 11” long

Has non numeric marks and date window

The back is decorated with horizontal lines.

There are the words “ US Pat 2640668” & “US Pat 2719402” on base edge (photo)

Fluorescent glow in the dark bars on the 12,3, 6 & 9 marks & the 2 hands

Rub marks on the top of the clock case (photo)
