Osprey are
renowned for their high-quality backpacks and the Talon 44 is a perfect
example. Osprey describe the Talon as being "designed with ultralight
multi-day adventures and travellers in mind" and it is a superbly
adaptable backpack.
The Talon
range all feature AirScape™ back panels - in this model this is a ridge-moulded
foam back panel with integrated air channels and a continuous-wrap harness and
hip-belt, allowing the pack to move with you when traversing challenging
terrain. This streamlined pack features a top-loading main compartment,
hydration reservoir sleeve, dual zippered hip pockets, and attachment points
for ice axes and trekking poles. Constructed with high-quality bluesign® approved
recycled high-tenacity nylon with a PFC-free DWR coating. The pack comes with a - rather worn - but entirely readable ‘Talon series owner’s manual’.
The pack has
been used in the past although not often and there are some minor wear marks
which I hope are visible in the photographs. The functionality of the pack is
totally unaffected including all straps, clips and features. I am including a new
condition ‘EXPED Fold Dry-Bag’ in XXL size (rrp £21.99) because it is a perfect
fit for this pack and adds an extra layer of protection for the contents.
This is a
great backpack and I am only selling it because it is sadly not being used currently,
which is a real waste.
