Boyds Bears UK.  An Ivory coloured 10.1/2" short piled Bear with a very serious looking face.  It sits at an unusual angle and has a bit of a tummy.  This is a bear with a Devon post code and no. 3809052.  The material is a plush fabric with a shortish pile that has a coarse but soft texture as if it is real fur.  The paw pads are of a beige woollen texture fabric.  This bear does not have moving joints but the neck, legs & arm joints have round hard bits which seem to give them structure.  The nose is stitched in black thread as is the markings on the paws pads.  The eyes have a black pupil and blue outers and feel like they are made of glass or similar.  The filling is polyester fibres with some PE pellets.  The feel  is quite firm.   The approx. measurements are: the length at full stretch is 10.1/2" (26.5cm), each leg is 4" (10cm), each arm is 4" (10cm) & the body roundness is 4.1/2"x3"x3" (11.5cm x 7.5cm x 7.5cm).  See photos.  It has an old fashioned traditional look to it and it will travel.  I have had this bear since about 2000.  The condition is very good and clean.  It has never been played with or handled that much, it has been part of my soft toy collection used for decoration only which I am now downsizing.  Despatched with Royal Mail.
