Bound in cloth with black lettering to front board and pictorial spine.
Including 63 tales and with illustrations by Arthur Rackham, 99 black & white and a full colour frontispiece and title-page.

Condition - Acceptable - This book has a had a repair. Cloth to front board spine edge was completely split, which left the spine cloth hanging off. Cloth from another book has been used to reconnect it to the front board.
Covers with edge wear, some markings, and patches of wear & discolouration. Spine with wear top & bottom, top with some chips. And the lettering and illustration colour has faded.
Back cover spine edge, the cloth has split pretty much all the way up the spine edge.
Front hinge good with the repair, back a little loose.
Pages lightly tanned. Some with the odd thumb marking, stain or light spots of foxing.
Binding in read condition, but not excessively loose.
An ex-owner has part or fully coloured in 3 of the black & white illustrations, and added neatly painted small flowers to the front free endpaper, half-title and at the end of 2 of the tales.
