World Championship Winner Mike Hawthorn driving the Ferrari in the 1958 Moroccan GP by
Roy Nockolds
- This is a print of the famous Roy Nockolds painting showing
Mike Hawthorn driving a Ferrari in the 1958 Grand Prix. This was the last race
of the 1958 season in which, by finishing second to Stirling Moss in the
Vanwall, Hawthorne gained the points that gave him the World Championship.
- This picture comes in a black frame.
- The original painting, commissioned by Shell, was presented
to Mike Hawthorn after winning the Championship and is mentioned in his
autobiography.
- This print is of historic interest in its own right and is
extremely well printed in full colour on good quality, heavy cartridge paper,
is a full 20 inches x 30 inches (51cm x 76cm) and, having been printed back in
1959, is of course, unrepeatable.
- This print is in good condition but with some age marks at
the top of the print – as can be seen in the picture.
