Up for bid is a wonderful vintage signed F. Earl Christy postcard.  Titled "The Pilot", the lithographic illustration shows a lovely post-Victorian young lady dressed as a sailor and at the helm of a ship's wheel.  When you supersize image 1 you can better see the wonderful detail.  The artistry is masterful and the colors are really nice.

When you supersize image 2 you can see that his postcard was published by Reinthal & Newman (their logo is at the upper-left corner).  It has been posted, and has a 1912 cancellation across the one-cent stamp on the divided back.

This 110 year-old postcard will look great when it's matted and framed for an authentic antique decoration. You can also give it as a thoughtful gift, or add it to your own postcard collection. Bid now, before another collector takes it away!

All items have been safely stored in a smoke-free home.

CONDITIONExpected soiling with slight corner blunting.  A bit of surface and edge wear.  No creases, stains or rips.  Clear image and vivid colors. This 110 year-old paper antique presents beautifully!

A PICTURE IS WORTH A THOUSAND WORDS!

It’s an important part of the item description.

Viewing the supersized images is like looking at an item under a magnifying glass.  Before you bid, supersize the images and study them carefully
