Huge vintage punch bowl from the ringware line of Bauer Pottery circa 1930s. This piece is not marked, but I identified it easily through research. When I looked at the Bauer color chart from this period, the closest color I could find was jade green. This bowl looks closer to turquoise to me, although there did not seem to be a turquoise color in the line. It is definitely more green than blue, and I tried to capture the color as best I could. I am assuming if you are looking at this listing then you are probably a collector who knows what color it is better than I do!

In any case, this piece measures about 14 1/4" in diameter and 7" tall and has the characteristic Bauer horizontal ribbed ringware design with 3 feet on the base and the pin marks common to pottery from this era. I would call it in "very good" condition. It has no chips or cracks, still retains most of its gloss both inside and outside. Has some glaze skipping which looks original to the piece; also has some typical scratches and scuff marks, nothing unusual or very prominent. The bottom of the feet are very rough but that might be original to the piece as well. I have never dealt in Bauer pottery specifically but have handled a lot of other American pottery, and I would definitely rate this as one of the best pieces I've seen. Please feel free to ask any additional questions.

Also please note that this bowl is not only dimensionally large but very heavy (8 1/2 lbs unpacked), so it will not be cheap to ship! Please look at your shipping options and I will always use whatever method is best for you and refund any overage.
