Here is an HISTORIC 1910s Eagle Boy Scout uniform shirt patches ID'd and owned by aviator Oscar E. Grubb of Los Angeles.  This rare early shirt is literally covered with patches and shows a very proficient and skilled Scout.  Name tag of OSCAR E. GRUBB in neck.  Sizing is for an adult:  pit to pit measures 22" and neck to hem: 31", sleeve length: 23.25".  There are pinned in armpit guards to keep from armpits staining the uniform.

In 1929, Grubb and Pilot Frank Hawks flew from Los Angeles to New York in 18 hours, 22 minutes which achieved the fastest transcontinental flight on record, 2481 miles.  Oscar Grubb was the mechanic and fueler.  His leather flight suit is in the collection of the San Diego Air & Space Museum.

Good overall, one hole on right sleeve below American flag patch (as noted in photo).  A few tiny holes here and there.
