I had this bag custom made by the Tomahawk Leatherwork shop on Etsy. I had them make a few modifications and additions to the standard build. Here’s a rundown of the modifications:

- Reduced depth to 5”, however due to its shape it’s closer to 4” deep when not filled with gear.

- Added 1 outer side pocket

- Added a front phone pocket underneath the front flap

- Changed the front closure from strap to a quick release latch buckle

- Removed the front corner “folds” in the leather. I felt the folds made it look more feminine, like a purse.

- Wider main flap to cover the top fully to prevent water entry points in case of rain

This bag is made out of Horween English Tan Dublin vegetable tan leather (my all time favorite!) on the outside and Herman Oak natural leather on the inside. The craftsmanship is really top tier on this bag. A true heirloom quality $1k+ bag. It measures approximate 15” w x 4-5” d x 11” h. It includes a detachable handle and an adjustable strap that is also detachable.

Regarding condition, it was used by me as my daily driver for close to 2 years before COVID. Once the pandemic hit it has been sitting in my closet. That being said, these bags start out already rugged. It’s the nature of the Dublin leather which inherently has markings, variations in color, scuffs, etc. This is not for you if you want a “pretty” or pristine bag. After 2 years of use it has PLENTY of marks, scuffs, scratches, patina, impressions, etc. There are a few water marks on the interior as well. I tried to take detailed photos. Please review them carefully to ensure you know what you are purchasing. My guess is that if you’re looking here you already know what to expect with a bag made out of this kind of leather but just in please case review accordingly.
