Here is an adorable ice skating lamp from around the 30s or 40s. It was patented in the 30s. It was made by Chase Brass and Copper Co. Waterbury Ct. It takes two C batteries, not included.

Total height is 8" high, without the handle it's 5 3/8" high x 3 1/2" wide.
