This auction is for a Fantasy Flight Games Star Wars X-Wing Miniatures lot with 34 Ships and a custom magnetized playing mat made from a high-res Nasa image. From rulebooks to dice to maneuver dials to the miniatures themselves, this auction includes everything you need to begin playing immediately. Whether it's a small dog fight or a massive battle between the empire and the rebels, Star Wars fans will have a real blast with this collection.

The play mat is *fantastic* to play on. To start, I downloaded a high-res image from Nasa and had it printed on vinyl with adhesive backing. I then adhered it to an expensive 4' x 8' "magnetically receptive" mat. I then cut sheets of 8" x 10" magnetic sheets with adhesive backing (easily available from Amazon or craft stores like Michael's) to size and adhered them to the underside of the ship bases. See pictures for more details.

It really makes a difference during play to have ships that are more stable because of the magnetic backing. Believe me, it makes the gameplay itself a lot more stress free and enjoyable for players. Please note: I've included some unused material but you can easily order more and cut them to size with scissors or (better yet) an X-acto knife.
