For bid an original Tuesday, September 26, 1939 San Francisco, California MENU from the "Tamale Cafe" located at 1237 Polk Street, SF.  Six-panel folded menu printed on a single sheet of thick paper.  The menu was damaged when it was carelessly peeled from a scrapbook.  Some paper missing to back panel.  A hole above the word "San Francisco" inside.  Food and drinks listed with cheap prices.  Cocktails listed inside the front cover.  Some Golden Gate International Exposition information on back cover.  It was currently ongoing on Treasure Island between SF and Oakland.

Interesting Art Deco illustration of a woman on the front panel.  See images.  Because of the peeling damage to the back, the menu is being sold AS-IS.  See images.  Fun dining history.
