Found these to be clean, working, connecting, useable, as intended. Bonus track is outside rail, 9 of 10 needed to make a circle. I looked.   

This Micro Machines Union Pacific Train Set is a great addition to any collector's toy collection. Made by Galoob in 1989, it includes three of the four pieces needed to complete the set.
