1837 $5 The Jackson County Bank note from Jacksonburgh, Michigan.

This short-lived bank only operated from 1837 until it failed in 1838. 

This note features a Vignette of a bare-breasted Minerva accepting a cornucopia of coins from Mercury.

This note grades Very Fine with a few minor pinholes.
