Wurlitzer could not seem to decide just which types of locks they preferred for their coin drawers.  In 1935 they used Yale ME series drawer locks.  During the years 1936 and 1937 they used Rockford PA series locks.  With the 1938 models they began using Duo locks, most often from the M series.

With the 1940 models they began using this type of Chicago lock with the W series numbering.  Key numbers range from 5000 to just over 7000.  The key numbers were usually not shown on the lock face but often are inside on the side of the cylinder. The same key series was used for the wall boxes but the last 3 digits of the key number was shown on the lock face for wall box locks.
