This is an old 35 mm format manual focus lens with adapter to SONY E mount NEX series or new Alpha series MILC (mirrorless) body. Not a native SONY autofocus lens.
35 mm film camera lens' film coverage is 36 x 24 mm, so called full frame by digital standard.
E-mount. Not A-mount. For cameras like A7 A6000 NEX-5 etc.
I have fully tested this lens to ensure the functionality. The test photo is taken with this lens mounted on SONY NEX-5 digital.
If you use adapted lens on SONY digital for the first time, please do MENU → (Custom Settings) → [Release w/o Lens] → desired setting.
Please confirm you can use this lens.

Canon FD SC 50 mm F 1.8 lens SN 1857279 Canon FD mount, and an FD adapter to NEX E-mount MILC body.
Adapter can be removed and used on other FD FL mount lens.
Test photo is attached. Excellent color and excellent bokeh. Two toys are three inch apart and the depth of field effect is already intense at F 2.8 .

Everything works as it should. Glass is in great shape. No sign of fungus. Minor dust minor coating decay due to its age. Overall, optical condition is very good and nothing will effect photo quality. See listing photos.
Focus is smooth and firm. Old school lens feel.
Aperture has been completely rebuild. It had oil on blade. The whole aperture assembly has been ultrasound cleaned and assembled back. Some dried solvent stain remains. Now aperture functionality is 100%. Open and close no problem.
Externally, it is a good used 40 some years old lens. Some normal usage wear. Some engraving on the lens barrel. Please inspect the listing photos for cosmetic condition.
