Antique French Art Nouveau Porcelain Jewelry Box Trinket Hand Painted Gold Gilt
A beautiful and large porcelain lidded box, that can be used for many purposes, such as a jewelry box, a candy dish or a trinket box.
The box has an unusual square shape and a beautiful hand painted and raised enamel gilt design. The design is stunning and features beautiful organic patterns with leaves and flowers and it also has a little bird on the front. The lid has a lovely shaped handle in the shape of a ribbon, making it easy to lift and close the lid without causing any damage to the box.
It is unmarked and was probably made in the Parisian region of France.
Made around 1900-1910, in France.

Width box: about 6 inch or 15 cm
Height box: about 2 inch or 5 cm
Condition: Good condition. No chips, cracks or restores, a few tiny losses to the gold paint, some baking flaws/cracks in the bottom part of the box, but this is from the manufacturing process. *The flower in the first photo is not included.
