This is an older rig with a lot of life left in it. 55K miles, 600 hours on the generator. Water tight! The interior is really the selling point here. It is a renovation with a non-standard floor plan. The plumbing has all been freshened up and the hot water heater absolute smokes (as a matter of fact, you probably ought to be cautious of it). Very pleasant to hang out in. Being older it doesn't have the amenities of a modern unit; slides, cameras, integrated electronics, wifi, etc.
The engine (7.5L BBF) is very strong, doesn't use any oil. New alternator, new AC compressor, new belts, recently tuned. Modified with Banks Power System; intake and long tube Torque-headers. Even with the headers though it's pretty quiet on the road. Pulls a trailer with no issues. Now, at 18K lbs this rig won't exactly "leap" onto the freeway from the on-ramp, but if you see a hole to merge into, it'll get you there. It will run with traffic, but 65 seems to be the best pace. At 75 it starts to wander around pretty bad, especially behind trucks, and at 80 the engine starts getting hot. I've seen 90 in it, and that's just a white knuckle ride that will only get your ass chewed by any passengers.
It has all the normal appliances. Refrigerator (ac/gas) works awesome on gas, but is sensitive to being on the level. The AC in the back works very well. Stove is propane as is the furnace. The furnace hasn't been used for a couple of years and could use a service. The electric fireplace up front is more than sufficient and simply easier to use. I will say that the generator does struggle if you load it load it up too much. It'll start to surge and chug and if you don't pull off the load, it'll eventually just shut itself down. For the most part I rarely use the coach generator but instead use a modern 4800-watt Wen Inverter Generator that is more economical, quitter, and more that capable of carrying the extra loads. Shore power is 30 amp.
This RV would be good for a young couple that wants to knock around for a few without putting up a kidney for collateral. If you were building a house and just needed a place to stay at the site, maybe somebody that's interested in doing environmental experiments on like solar power, active cooling, or fresh water collection. It would make a great self contained, self delivering hunting camp. Best suited for folks that are comfortable with doing simple maintenance like changing fuses, unjamming the stairs, checking / topping fluid levels, setting up a hotspot to watch TV.
This RV would NOT be good for an older couple that expects turn key get in and go. Again, it just doesn't have the amenities, no warranties, and dealerships always give you "the look" if you bring it in for service. Because of its age you will find yourself fiddling with it, for example I have a head light that's going bad. It's sealed beam and the seal is history.
Feel free to ask questions. Let's talk! Great deal for the right person (DIY'er). $1000 discount off final price for cash (dollar bills).

Happy to discuss delivery. Not going to California, but I'd go a reasonable distance on the east coast. Definitely somewhere in the southeast.
