First off - we’ve been selling guitars and parts for 25 years. We feel confident in our knowledge on those.

We acquired a huge lot of HO train kits from someone that was clearing out a storage unit and had 4 guitars in hardshell cases, so we went out and bought those.

When we saw these kits, we figured we could probably buy and resell them to help fund our nonprofit organization. We have no knowledge about this hobby, or the intricacies of building these kits. (Just looking at the parts made my eyes cross, thanks to my depth perception handicap.)

The seller assumed that these came from a hobby store that had closed, or someone working the flea market circuit. When we checked the boxes, most looked like the parts were all there, some kits had been started, and others were definitely missing pieces. (Those will be sold in a mixed lot.)

We’ve done our best to photograph each lot to show the condition of the boxes and what is inside. We checked current values and are pricing these lower to account for any issues with the kits. We figure that if someone can use 75% of the kits and pay 50% of their price, it’s a fair bargain.

That said, please buy at your own risk and accept these as-is. If you’re looking to buy and flip these, that’s on you. If you need to get some replacement parts to complete the kits, we apologize for the inconvenience.

Q. Can you combine shipping?

A. Yes, on some items. We can refund the difference upon shipping. Smaller parts? No problem. Two necks? That can be done. A neck and body? No. With all shippers using dimensional shipping, it actually costs MORE to ship a body and neck together.

Q. Is it really that dry in Arizona?

A. YES. Purchases may need to acclimate to your environment, especially necks.

Q. Can you measure a neck pocket, or weigh a part?

A. Sure, just ask!

Q. Can you measure the output of a pickup?

A. Resistance is not a reliable measurement of output. Take a look at the resistance on the Dimarzio Steve Morse set.
