Phone boots fine, but has issues with freezing. After a random amount of use, it will completely freeze, requiring a hard reset. Time between freezes seems random, but anywhere from a few minutes to half an hour. Wiping the system cache helps, but eventually it begins to freeze again. Physically, it is in very good physical shape, with some minor wear on the back. The screen is in great shape, and comes with a rubber case and extra glass protectors. Battery is very good as well.
Phone is unlocked and should work with most carriers in Canada. I do not know if this phone works in the States, so do not buy if you are unsure yourself, as there are no returns for this phone.
