This exceptional early 1900's jardiniere is crafted of several sheets of brass with soldered dovetail joints and richly worked in hand hammered chased repousse all over.  The subject appears to be a hunt scene with numerous wild animals including elephants, lions and apes?  Measuring 8 1/2" tall x 10 1/4" across the fluted top with 5" bottom, it is in very nice condition with mostly golden surface showing spots of tarnsh and verdigris.  There is a pinprick hole on one side; the bottom holds water.
