Up for auction is a Vintage 1968 Dr. Scholl’s Foot Powder Advertising Tin! This brand was marketed by The Scholl Mfg. Co. in Chicago, Illinois for daily foot care and to help prevent athlete’s foot. It is a 3 oz. advertising tin that measures about 5” tall x 1¾” diameter. The container has classic advertising graphics in mulit-color lithography, including the Dr. Scholl’s logo, 50¢ price, and directions for use on its back. The tin has its original yellow shaker twist cap in place. As shown in the photos, this vintage tin is in very good condition for its age with nice bright colors and sharp details. It has some normal surface wear, including a few small marks, light scuffs or scratches, and a light dent or ding near the bottom. The shaker twist cap opens and closes well. The tin is basically empty but may have some residual powder inside. This vintage Dr. Scholl’s Foot Powder advertising tin would make a great addition to your collection!
