Gorilla family units are known as troops and contain only one Silverback, which earned its name as a result of the stripe of silver fur on its back that results from age.

It depicts a massive silverback with his powerful jaw open and his muscular frame visible from the chest up. He is depicted letting out a fierce roar, likely a sign of aggression and dominance toward another silverback.

Located in Central Africa, the Republic of the Congo is home to the vast majority of the population of Western Lowland gorillas, which inhabit the dense forests, lowland swamps, and marshes of the region.
