This locomotive is still in the box and is still sealed in the original plastic shrink wrap.  I assume it works, but it's never been tested since it's still in its original packaging.  I think my dad was saving this one but passed away before he had a chance.  Enough sentiment.  Hope the picture through the packaging window is enough to show you what it looks like.
