Rolleiflex HEIDOSCOP stereoscopic antique camera
Description
The Heidoscop is a triple lens reflex camera stereo camera, for plates, and later for film. It was the first camera made by Franke and Heidecke (later Rollei-Werke Franke & Heidecke) in Braunschweig, Germany. It is a fairly close copy of Voigtländer's Stereflektoskop of 1914.
This particular early exemple can take 45×107 mm plates, and was made circa 1920-30s.
Condition :
An early plate model serial number 1196 in overall good condition considering its age.
Most all the functions appear to work, except the shutter. We have not really tried it to avoid any damage.
A spring release cam connected to the viewing hood is broken (see last picture). The hood still seems to operate as it should.
All opticals are dusty, with haze or fungi (maybe scratches).
The spirit level is damaged.
It comes with an original ever-ready case in good condition.
We have not done any further tests.
It is sold as a historic photographic camera for display or restoration

Iris diaphragm to f18.
Viewing lens: f3.2, 5.5 cm Heidoscop Sucher-Anastigmat.
Shutter: Compound, speeds 1 - 1/300, B, T.
Construction: Leather covered metal body.
Format: Two, 4.5 x 4.5 cm exposures on 45 x 107 mm plates held in a push-pull changing magazine for 12 plates.
Focusing: To 1m.

Reflex viewing through separate lens.
Full-size ground glass viewing screen.
Magnifier in hood.
Mirror in hood for eye-level use.
Removable magazine with automatic exposure counter.
Spirit level in view-finder.
