Art Nouveau Antique Box North Bay Scarborough Castle Real Photo Photograph c1890
Offered here is an Art Nouveau Antique Box with a photo of North Bay Scarborough and the Castle .
This is a Real Photo /Photograph dated c1890 .
This is a lovely box - it has an Art Nouveau design on the left hand side decorated with small cabochons .
The main body - lid - has a very early photograph of North Bay Scarborough , looking South towards the castle . This includes a lot of detail that is no longer there .
The piece measures 7.25 inches x 5.25 inches x 1.25 inches . . I am not sure of its original use - but I think it is a rare piece .
On the underside of the lid there is a nice handwritten message , it reads - To Violet , with love from your little brother , Arthur .
A great piece for any lover of the North Yorkshire coast .
