Offered here is an Arts & Crafts Handmade Cornish Copper Tray decorated with 2 Fish.

This is all handbeaten with a Stylised design and thumb pinched edging .

The tray was made by J&F Pool Limited of Hayle , and it dates to circa 1910 to circa 1920 .

It is Catalogue number 8108.

This company was founded by James & Fredrick Pool in 1862.

This is made from very thick gauge copper and has a thumbpinched like design around the edge , but the gauge is far too thick to have been shaped by hand without a hand tool .

The entire piece measures 18.5 x 10 inches .

This has some patina from years of use and would probably benefit from a polish .

It does have some wear to the design , and I found this extremely difficult to photograph because of the lighting . Any shining marks are simply reflections .
