Offered here is an Arts & Crafts Handmade Cornish Copper Tray decorated with a Viking Boat .
This is all handbeaten with a Stylised design and thumb pinched edging .
The tray was made by J & F Pool of Hayle , and it dates to circa 1910 to circa 1920 .
It is number 583 in the Pool Catalogue , and this was the second biggest of four sizes they made in this pattern
This is made from very thick gauge copper and has a thumbpinched like design around the edge , but the gauge is far too thick to have been shaped by hand without a hand tool .
The entire piece measures 13.25 inches across its diameter.
This has some patina from years of use and would probably benefit from a polish . There are some black marks that would probably polish out .
It does have some wear to the design , and I found this extremely difficult to photograph because of the lighting . Any shining marks are simply reflections .
