Hi there and thanks for looking at my 1988 F reg Jaguar Xjs convertible finished in which I think is the best colour combination of the classic British racing green complete with green leather interior along with green carpets and door cards etc. As you can see from the pictures this car is a 5.3 V12 with a very rare manual 5 speed gearbox. It also benefits from having A.P racing discs and calipers. Make no mistake this car requires a small amount of work or very light restoration in which I have started around 18 months ago by removing the water pump and hoses but unfortunately time and other commitments have prevented me from progressing therefore I have decided to sell. Upon purchasing the car there was an issue with the fuel tank leaking and heavily corroded, apparently a common problem but fortunately I managed to purchase one that needed little work but cost a small fortune which requires fitting if you know your classic jags these are like rocking horse ##it to get hold of. As you can see I have purchased a brand new water pump complete with hoses which will obviously come with the car. I have owned the car for around 2 years and have the log book in my name. Previously to me purchasing the car it was in the same family for 28 years. I am the 5th owner and the mileage is 136,960. As in the picture the roof is in excellent condition and I believe it to be original to the car with rear glass window. I may also add that I have a video of the car running whilst in my ownership before I started work on it which is available on request, so to summarise…..Jaguar Xjs convertible, British racing green 5.3 V12 manual transmission.
