This is a scarce 1972 vintage GOGARBURN HOSPITAL Board Of Management silver&enamel nurses pin badge with a 1972 vintage Scotland Registered Nurse For Mental Defectives silver&enamel nurses pin badge awarded to the same nurse a J.C.Springthorpe.The GOGARBURN badge is manufactured by K&S and it has an Edinburgh silver hallmark for 1972.The other silver badge is manufactured by Hamilton&Inches Edinburgh and has a Birmingham silver hallmark for 1972.The GOGARBURN is in an excellent condition measuring 3.2cm in diameter and the other badge is also in an excellent condition and measures 2.1cm in diameter.(p.s I thought it best to keep these two badges together as they were both awarded to the same nurse and both the same year of service).
