You are bidding on a stunning and rare vintage French 6 1/4" Curved Bladed Drawknife by A.F.T. Acier Fondu in very good clean used condition
This tool is rust and pitting free; The perfect edge will need final honing to users requirements
Tool is 14 1/2" overall; the very slightly blade is approx 6 1/4"; 1 1/4" widest. 3955g before safe packaging.
Good clear makers marks as shown.
The original hardwood handles are in very good condition as shown, very tight on through peened steel washers as shown.
Very nice tool, ready to go!

MK Services DOES NOT seek to make profit on any shipping charges but buyers must appreciate that there are significant costs for packaging materials which we make a nominal charge for.
Royal Mail Standard Small Parcels are only covered for loss to a limit of £20 GBP; items above this amount up to a limit of £50 GBP must be sent Signed For or Tracked in order to be properly covered; above this amount there are extra charges as well. Full cover is in our opinion prudent for both the buyers and sellers mutual protection. There is no ‘partial compensation’ for under insured items. SF costs approx. £5.30 extra pro rata.
We are happy to ship without Signed For at buyers own risk and will require consent for this by email before shipping.
We will always obtain a written Proof of Posting Slip at this end but this is not trackable.

International buyers should be aware that any item that exceeds the 2kg Small Airmail Packet weight limit will be SIGNIFICANTLY more expensive to ship and they should take care to investigate these costs BEFORE bidding.

We are also happy to refund any postage costs that we have miscalculated once the item actually ships.
