With 100 illustrations in colour selected by H.E. Dresser from his "Birds Of Europe", this book is filled not only filled with descriptions and plates of the birds themselves but, wherever possible, notes on their ways and habits have also been given. 

In fine condition, the binding is straight and tight, the boards clean apart from a small mark to the back board and the lettering on the spine bright. There is a small tear to the bottom corner of the spine. The end papers and pages are free from tears and inscriptions. There is a small mark to the front end paper. The top edge retains its original gold tint. 

In outstanding condition, this books would make an impressive addition to a library or a wonderful gift.
