The Little Friend, Donna Tartt, Bloomsbury, 2002, First Edition, First Impression

Winner of the WH Smith Literary Award and shortlisted for the Orange Prize for Fiction in 2003, this is the author's second novel. The story, centres on a young girl, Harriet Cleve Dufresnes, who was living in Mississippi in the early 1970s. 

In near fine condition, the binding is straight and tight, the boards clean and the lettering on the spine bright. The end papers and pages are free from marks, tears and inscriptions. The original brown silk ribbon is still fully attached. 

The unclipped dust jacket is in very good condition with crease marks to the top corner of the front cover, nibbling to the top edge of the front cover, spine and back cover, a small tear to the bottom edge of the back cover and a small brown round sticker to the  back cover. 

Will be dispatched carefully wrapped in bubblewrap and a cardboard box.
