Heavy textured cardstock covers in varying colors, with a 5.75"x4" sticker label on the front that tells the letter of the Album and a description or list of what artwork is featured inside the album. Inside the Albums (after the first 2 pages and there are a total of 8 pages) have a spot for a stamp of the piece of art, the title of the art piece, who created it, a description of the artist and the work as well as the size of the original piece. These were originally distributed by the Book-of-the-Month Club. There are a total of 5 albums in this lot. As you learn about the art, you put a stamp of the art in the allotted spot.
Album A : (light burgundy cover) arts of Flanders. Painting, tapestries, and sculpture from the early 15th to mid-17th century, including works by Van Der Weyden, Petrus, Christus, Van Der Goes, Bouts, Memling, Cornelis and Quentin Massys, Bosch, Patinir, Pieter Bruegel the Elder, Rubens, Van Dyck. The full sheet of stamps is intact. One stamp has a bent corner. No stamps have been inserted into the art book.
Album E: (grey cover)Twenty-four pictures illustrating the development of 17th-century Dutch painting, including: Hals, Rembrandt, Vermeer, Pieter de Hooch, Steen, Terbroch, Cuyp, Ruisdael, Vosmaer, Colyer and others. The full sheet of stamps is intact, no bends.
Album N: (dark burgundy cover) French Art of the 19th Century: including works by Ingres, Delacraoix, Courbet, Daumier, Corot, Millet, Manet, Monet, Renoir, Degas, Cezanne, Gauguin, Rodin, Toulouse-Lautrec and others. The first 4 art stamps have been secured in the book, the rest are in small 4-8 stamp sections in the front of the book.

This one has 14 stamps inserted into the book, the remaining are in small lots in the front of the album.
