This auction is for a custom glass over glass call by award winning call maker Wendell Rye of Lights Out custom calls.  

Just take a look...

This call is made of wormy spalted maple burl with red resin and comes with a bloodwood striker.  This was the most extensive worm damaged piece I have ever worked.  I removed literally 1/4 cup of wood dust from the inter-connected worm runs in this blank before pouring with resin.  The first picture is of a COB LED light sitting on the glass surface of the call... wicked! The purrs and clucks are realistic and easy to run.  The cuts are crisp and expressive.  The yelps break from a medium-high pitched first note into a raspy, medium-high pitched second note.  This call has a great sound, and is DEFINITELY one of a kind! I'm starting it at $1.  Let's see where it goes.

                                                                              

Condition this 3 1/2" surface with 120 grit sandpaper or a conditioning stone.

For 20 years, I have turned each of my calls and strikers one at a time by hand,  without the use of patterns or duplicating devices.  Your satisfaction is my top priority.
