Nadal called 2010 his best year. In the 2010 season, he became the first male player in tennis history to win Grand Slam tournaments on three different surfaces (clay, grass and hard court) in the same year (Surface Slam), and became the youngest player in the Open Era to complete the Career Grand Slam, after his win at the US Open.
