This listing is to assess interest in my lastest design of 3d printed catenary products.

I am pleased to present these kits to make up the BR Mk3 multi-track wire headspans, as can be seen on the ECML, WCML (North) MML and many other 25kV lines electrified under BR post 1970.

The kits will consist of bases for the H-profile masts (x2). Clamp fittings for registration and support wires (x6) and negative return lines (x4). Insulators for lower registration wire (x5) and registration arms with pulleys (x4).

To make up these kits you will need to supply your own 4mm H-profile cut to 16cm lengths and small holes drilled in the sides to insert the wires.   

Lengths of 0.4mm piano wire to make up the upper and lower registation wires, fine jewerly wire to make up the dropper wires, and some cotton thread or fine fishing line to make up the top suspension wire.

The photos show a rough approximation of what a finished example might look like, and parts included in the kit for one mast.

Due to the amount of cutting, drilling, bending etc. these are quite an involved process to make up, but the aim of this kit is to minimise that work and provide accurate looking parts for all the fittings and fixtures that go on/between the masts.

You can therefore make them up to any width or height of span you require.  The ones in the photo just show my first mock-up of a typical one on a 4-track section that you might find on the ECML. 

Price is currently undecided but will be very reasonable as I want to make these kits accessible and affordible to people.

Please do not buy it now as the parts still need some work to be fully production ready, and I still need to asses different ways of assembling to find the easist way.

If they prove sucessful I may look to add further products to replicate BR mark 3 catenary.
