You are bidding on a very nice example of a very nice vintage RECORD UK No:044 Plough Plane c/w 8 ORIGINAL Cutters, D Stop, L&S Rods, all in good clean used condition.
All parts have been thoroughly cleaned and operate as they should.
Replacement long and original short rods and a replacement for the often missing depth stop are all present.
No damage or repairs.
Comes with a full set of 8 Brand New Cutters in the full range of sizes 1/8" to 9/16"; 3/16" cutter is in the plane as shown.
I have made the new cutter set from 3mm precision ground gauge plate, heat treated and oil quench hardened.
Weight is 1.3kg before safe packaging.
A great addition to any collection or a good quality user.

MK Services DOES NOT seek to make profit on any shipping charges but buyers must appreciate that there are significant costs for packaging materials which we make a nominal charge for.
Royal Mail Standard Small Parcels are only covered for loss to a limit of £20 GBP; items above this amount up to a limit of £50 GBP must be sent Signed For or Tracked in order to be properly covered; above this amount there are extra charges as well. Full cover is in our opinion prudent for both the buyers and sellers mutual protection. There is no ‘partial compensation’ for under insured items. SF costs approx. £5.30 extra pro rata.
We are happy to ship without Signed For at buyers own risk and will require consent for this by email before shipping.
We will always obtain a written Proof of Posting Slip at this end but this is not trackable.

International buyers should be aware that any item that exceeds the 2kg Small Airmail Packet weight limit will be SIGNIFICANTLY more expensive to ship and they should take care to investigate these costs BEFORE bidding.

We are also happy to refund any postage costs that we have miscalculated once the item actually ships.
