Please watch the posted video that shows this cassette deck in operation.
The TCD 440A has Dyneq and Actilinear circuitry. It features 3-head w/azimuth adjustment.
As shown, the deck works fine. It PLAY, FF, and Rew OK. The output level meters and needles work fine; just the tape I used in the video somehow didn't move the needles much (another tape was OK).
It works on 120V AC in USA/Canada.
Overall good physical condition. There are wear and nicks here and there. The plastic cover on the cassette door fell off, and needs to be re-glued on. It has a small crack on it too. Maybe a replacement plastic sheet is a better idea. Also a small piece of wood broke off in the back corner, as shown in pictures.
